American California Property Management Company was founded in 1995 by Nicholas Kallins. ACP currently specializes in the fee management of apartments, commercial property, and hotels. Bilingual management is our focus and specialty in the urban areas of the western United States.

ACP provides full service management services to private and institutional investors. ACP is affiliated with Geovest Corporation, which is a strategic acquisition and real estate asset holding company.

JAMES KALLINS, MD: Dr. Kallins is Chairman of the Board and provides strategic direction to Geovest and affiliated entities. Dr. Kallins, although he was successful in his medical practice, has been active in the real estate industry and business world since the early sixties. He previously served as a board member for Downey National Bank, and currently serves on the board of numerous charitable, cultural, and religious organizations.

GEORGE KALLINS, MD, CEO and President: Dr. Kallins is responsible for operations as well as active participation in investment strategies and asset allocation. Dr. Kallins has long been active in the business and real estate world having obtained his real estate license at the age of eighteen. Dr. Kallins has been active in the medical profession in Orange County, both as a practicing physician as well as a successful entrepreneur in the medical services field. Dr. Kallins was cofounder and former CEO of Mission Ob/Gyn Medical Group, a twelve-physician women's health care and pediatric group in Mission Viejo. He was cofounder and former CEO of Medical Management Resources, a medical billing and management firm in Tustin. He is currently on the volunteer faculty at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, and he is also member of the Mission Hospital Foundation and South Orange County Health Foundation.

Dr. George graduated from the University of Southern California Cum Laude, and was awarded Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to graduate from Rush Medical College, where he achieved his medical degree as Doctor of Medicine. After medical school he went on to the University of Southern California / Los Angeles County medical Center where he completed his medical training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kallins is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kallins earned his Masters in Business Administration from the George Graziadio School of Business Administration at Pepperdine University in April of 2000.

VIRGINIA KALLINS, Chief Financial Officer: Virginia has served as CFO since 1983 and is responsible for financial records and coordinates the various activities with bankers and accountants. Ms. Kallins began her financial career as an accountant in Chicago in the 1950's, and was a property supervisor from 1965 through 1981. She also has active experience in all aspects of hotel management. Ms. Kallins earned her Masters in Education from Loyola University, and holds a California Real Estate Sales License.

BETTINA P. KALLINS, Vice President of Finance: Bettina Kallins is a financial advisor to individuals and corporations at Smith Barney where she evaluates investment opportunities, facilitates credit and lending services and analyzes the performance of portfolio investments. As a member of Geovest, Ms. Kallins leverages her relationship with all of the Citigroup entities including Smith Barney and Citibank Private Bank. Ms. Kallins has been in the finance and investment industry for over 9 years, taking a one-year sabbatical to serve as a speechwriter and economic policy advisor to Boutros Boutros-Ghali, the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Bettina Kallins earned her B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.

BARBARA KALLINS MATTY, ESQ, Vice President of Legal Affairs: Barbara was a sole practitioner for six years with offices in Ontario and Irvine, California. Her private practice included business and real estate litigation, as well as municipal law as a contract assistant City Attorney for the City of Ontario. Barbara has also worked as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Bernardino counseling the departments of Engineering, Planning and Code Enforcement, and handling the related civil litigation files. Barbara has also worked inhouse as a staff attorney for the California Association of Realtors counseling real estate brokers, teaching continuing education courses and publishing various legal opinions and articles. Prior to that, Barbara spent brief periods of time working with bankruptcy attorneys, personal injury attorneys, and with the legal department of a private bank.

Barbara has been a member of the California State Bar since 1986. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School and her Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California. She is licensed to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Claims Court. She has also been an inactive member of the District Columbia Bar since 1989 and holds a real estate sales license which she has had with Geovest since 1980.

VICKY PAPOULIAS: Vicky has served as Real Estate Acquisitions Manager since 1989. She concentrates her efforts mostly in locating Multi-Family Residential Properties and Retail Centers. Vicky's previous work experience is in Trust Real Estate Private Banking, Property Management and the restaurant business. As an Art Major, Vicky often involves herself in Interior Design projects within the company. Ms. Papoulias is licensed by the California Department of Real Estate as a Broker and she is also a Notary Public.

SCOTT GERRITY, Director of Property Management: Mr. Gerrity is directly responsible for the daily management of over 800,000 square feet of commercial/retail/industrial space. In addition, Scott oversees the management and operation of a hotel and over a million square feet in ground leases. Scott started his career at Chief Auto Parts, where he quickly moved up the ranks into the position of Real Estate Research Analyst. From there, he was an integral part of the roll-out team for LaundryMart, Inc., a start-up real estate/coin laundry concept. Before coming to ACP Management, Scott was Property Manager for Smart and Final, a food-service chain.

Scott served as Treasurer of Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (ACRE) from 2001 to 2007 and has earned a B.A. degree from Cal State University Long Beach in Business Administration, Finance.

GEORGIA N. KEZIOS, Esq., Legal Advisor: The Law Offices of Georgia N. Kezios is a general law practice which emphasizes Business & Real Estate Law, Probate, Trusts, Estate Planning and Family Law. Ms. Kezios is a legal advisor to the Geovest/ACP Group and her law practice is co-located with the ACP headquarters in Bellflower, California.

Ms. Kezios is a graduate of Western State University-College of Law, Fullerton, California. She is a member of the California State Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and the Southeast Bar Association. NICHOLAS KALLINS, ESQ (deceased): Nicholas served as President and CEO from 1989 to 2000. During his tenure he was responsible for acquisitions, development, redevelopment and management of commercial properties as well as several hotels. In the process of redeveloping several apartment projects, Nicholas earned several awards from local communities for revitalizing their communities. After passing the California State Bar exam in 1986 Mr. Kallins worked for Berkeley, Moore, Greenberg, and Lyman, a twelve-person law firm where he specialized in Business Litigation focusing on Real Estate transactional work. Mr. Kallins graduated in the top third of his class from the University of Southern California Law School and received Moot Court honors. In 1983 he received a BS in Finance and Business Economics with an emphasis in Real Estate from the University of Southern California. He graduated Cum laude and was awarded Beta Gamma Sigma. In addition to his academic degrees, Mr. Kallins was licensed by the California Department of Real Estate as a Broker and had a B-1 General Contractors license.

Nicholas was very instrumental in developing ACP to its current extent today. Although he is no longer with us, his memory and legacy will live forever and challenge us to higher goals.
